Chobe National Park in Botswana is a haven for wildlife. The elephant population is reported to be around 150,000. We saw over a hundred of them--some this close. The elephants and hippos frolicked in the Chobe River to cool off. Despite being plenty warm ourselves, we chose not to join them. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi River was a relaxing way to end one of our first days in Livingstone.
